The Ukee Cabin is a celebration of living in a rain forest. The cabin is built from sustainable and locally sourced heavy timber and cedar cladding. Large overhangs and deeply rooted connections to the environment celebrate the local vegetation and rain. The second story roof extenuates this idea by lifting the forest floor to the roof and ensuring all habitat lost by the footprint of the cabin is restored on the roof.
A 3rd story rooftop lookout provides protected panoramic views within the tree top canopy.
