Ukee Cabin

Ukee Cabin

The Ukee Cabin was designed to be a celebration of the temperate rainforest; built sustainably from locally sourced heavy fir timber and clad in charred cedar, this cabin blends in beautifully with the lush environment around it. The structure is raised up to minimize contact with the ground and exaggerated overhangs provide shelter from the West Coast rain. Green roofs mimic the forest floor, while guardrails act as trellises for native vegetation, fostering a connection between human inhabitants and the natural habitat that surrounds.
